I've been volunteering with a small neighborhood group for the past six months, and we recently completed a community project showcase by transforming a vacant, overgrown lot into a small public pollinator garden with native plants and a sitting area. The project was entirely volunteer-run and funded through small local donations, and we're incredibly proud of the result, but we're unsure how to best share our success to inspire similar efforts in other neighborhoods without a big budget. For other grassroots organizers, what platforms or local media channels have you found most effective for getting the word out about a completed project, and how do you structure your outreach to highlight the collaborative process and encourage others to take on their own initiatives? We have photos and a short story about the volunteers involved.
