My co-founder and I have developed a working prototype for a B2B SaaS product in the logistics space, and we're now actively seeking our first significant round of startup funding to build out the sales team and accelerate development. We've been bootstrapping so far, but we're unsure whether to prioritize angel investors or venture capital firms at this stage, given our need for both capital and industry connections. For founders who have navigated this transition, what was your experience in preparing financial projections and a pitch that resonated with early-stage investors, and how did you evaluate the trade-offs between different funding sources beyond just the amount of money offered? We're particularly concerned about maintaining our vision while accepting outside capital.
